Cecilia is artistic director of Spectra Ensemble. She has directed for companies including Opera Holland Park, Oxford Opera, Berlin Opera Academy, Spectra Ensemble and University College Opera, and worked as revival and assistant director at The Royal Opera House, English National Opera, Opera North, Garsington Opera and British Youth Opera where she worked in German, Italian and French. In July 2021 Cecilia was recognised with a Leonard Ingrams Award as one of the best young artists involved in bringing an opera to the Garsington stage.

Alongside her freelance work, Cecilia completed an AHRC-funded PhD in History of Art at University College London. Previously, Cecilia worked as Public Engagement Curator at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology, Oxford where she staged monthly late nights, LiveFridays. Cecilia initially trained as a violinist under Igor Petrushevski at the Junior Royal Academy of Music, London.

Cecilia’s 2024/25 directing engagements include Lucia di Lammermoor at Opera Holland Park and Don Giovanni at the Da Ponte Opera Festival.
